Using Enterprise Risk Management Techniques to Help Students Assess and Prepare for Academic Success
Enterprise risk management (ERM) helps organizations plan, lead, organize, and control organizational processes and activities to minimize the effects of risk. ERM provides a systematic methodology to identifying and prioritizing potential risks within an organization. This helps to improve communication through shared meaning of both expectations and outcomes. The presentation will use this model to help students conceptualize their academic processes to understand current and potential barriers to academic success. Presented by Elizabeth Walker, Renata Hedrington-Jones, and Nicole Cavanaugh.
